# Amazon Shopping vs Disney Store

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Disney Store at none against Amazon Shopping's 4. Disney Store also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (40% vs 23%). Amazon Shopping's advantage is ratings volume (8.5M vs 93K) and chart position (#7 vs unranked). On price, rating, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amazon Shopping sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Disney Store asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Amazon Shopping against 4.8 for Disney Store. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazon Shopping has 8.5M ratings behind it against 93K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 23% of Amazon Shopping's written reviews are positive against 40% of Disney Store's.

Amazon Shopping ships an update fortnightly, Disney Store monthly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
