# Amazon Shopping vs Progressive Leasing

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Progressive Leasing at none against Amazon Shopping's 4. Progressive Leasing also leads on ads (none vs shown). Amazon Shopping's advantage is ratings volume (8.5M vs 34K) and chart position (#9 vs #151). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Amazon Shopping sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Progressive Leasing asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Amazon Shopping against 4.7 for Progressive Leasing. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Amazon Shopping has 8.5M ratings behind it against 34K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 23% of Amazon Shopping's written reviews are positive against 25% of Progressive Leasing's.

Amazon Shopping ships an update fortnightly, Progressive Leasing every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
