# iReal Pro vs Drumgenius

The clearest difference is price: Drumgenius at Free against iReal Pro's $21.99. Drumgenius also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). iReal Pro's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (11K vs 234). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Drumgenius is free to download; iReal Pro costs $21.99 up front. iReal Pro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Drumgenius sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
