# iReal Pro vs Odd Metronome

The clearest difference is price: Odd Metronome at $1.99 against iReal Pro's $21.99. Odd Metronome also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). iReal Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 40 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 16). On rating, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

iReal Pro costs $21.99 and Odd Metronome $1.99 up front. iReal Pro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Odd Metronome asks for nothing beyond the download.

iReal Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iReal Pro has 11K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of iReal Pro's written reviews are positive against 88% of Odd Metronome's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iReal Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, Odd Metronome every 40 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
