# GhostCam vs Bricolage

The clearest difference is rating: Bricolage at 3.6 against GhostCam's 2.3. Bricolage also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). GhostCam's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and price ($0.99 vs $6.99). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

GhostCam costs $0.99 and Bricolage $6.99 up front. Bricolage sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. GhostCam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bricolage holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bricolage has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of GhostCam's written reviews are positive against 48% of Bricolage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GhostCam ships an update every 15 months, Bricolage every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
