# GPS vs Faindit

The clearest difference is price: Faindit at Free against GPS's $0.99. Faindit also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). GPS's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.0) and chart position (#178 vs unranked). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Faindit is free to download; GPS costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GPS holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GPS ships an update every 11 months, Faindit every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
