# 産経プラス vs 日本経済新聞 電子版

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 産経プラス at 92% against 日本経済新聞 電子版's 34%. 産経プラス also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.5). 日本経済新聞 電子版's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 日本経済新聞 電子版 sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $38.99 per month. 産経プラス asks for nothing beyond the download.

日本経済新聞 電子版 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 日本経済新聞 電子版 has 472 ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of 産経プラス's written reviews are positive against 34% of 日本経済新聞 電子版's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

産経プラス ships an update every 2 months, 日本経済新聞 電子版 every 10 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
