# Valentine's Countdown vs Watch Faces

The clearest difference is rating: Watch Faces at 4.7 against Valentine's Countdown's 4.0. Watch Faces also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 10). Valentine's Countdown's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 29%) and in-app purchases (none vs 12). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Valentine's Countdown asks for nothing beyond the download.

Watch Faces holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces has 1.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Valentine's Countdown's written reviews are positive against 29% of Watch Faces's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Valentine's Countdown ships an update every 10 months, Watch Faces every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
