# Lufthansa vs Elite Global Journeys

The clearest difference is ads: Elite Global Journeys at none against Lufthansa's shown. Elite Global Journeys also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Lufthansa's advantage is ratings volume (95K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elite Global Journeys holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lufthansa has 95K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lufthansa ships an update fortnightly, Elite Global Journeys every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
