# iDrone vs Blast HD

The clearest difference is ads: Blast HD at none against iDrone's shown. Blast HD also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). iDrone's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 41 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iDrone sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Blast HD sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blast HD holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively.

iDrone ships an update monthly, Blast HD every 41 months. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
