# eyeCam vs USB Camera pro

The clearest difference is rating: USB Camera pro at 3.2 against eyeCam's 1.0. USB Camera pro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (13 vs 1). eyeCam's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (65% vs 46%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eyeCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. USB Camera pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

USB Camera pro holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USB Camera pro has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of eyeCam's written reviews are positive against 46% of USB Camera pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
