# Focalware vs Shots

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shots at every 4 weeks against Focalware's every 12 months. Focalware's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Focalware ships an update every 12 months, Shots every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
