# 新浪新闻 vs FT中文网

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 新浪新闻 at none against FT中文网's 10. 新浪新闻 also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 1.6K) and review sentiment (53% vs 44%). FT中文网's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FT中文网 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. 新浪新闻 asks for nothing beyond the download.

FT中文网 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 新浪新闻 has 11K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of 新浪新闻's written reviews are positive against 44% of FT中文网's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

新浪新闻 ships an update fortnightly, FT中文网 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
