# TMZ vs BroBible

The clearest difference is rating: TMZ at 4.8 against BroBible's 2.8. TMZ also leads on ratings volume (213K vs 14) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). BroBible's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TMZ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TMZ has 213K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of TMZ's written reviews are positive against 44% of BroBible's.

TMZ ships an update monthly, BroBible every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
