# TMZ vs TEAMSTERS 848

The clearest difference is ads: TEAMSTERS 848 at none against TMZ's shown. TEAMSTERS 848 also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). TMZ's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (214K vs 1). On price, rating and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TEAMSTERS 848 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TMZ has 214K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TMZ ships an update monthly, TEAMSTERS 848 every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
