# TMZ vs EMV LLC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EMV LLC at 100% against TMZ's 62%. EMV LLC also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). TMZ's advantage is ratings volume (213K vs 3) and chart position (#120 vs unranked). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EMV LLC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TMZ has 213K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of TMZ's written reviews are positive against 100% of EMV LLC's.

TMZ ships an update monthly, EMV LLC fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
