# TMZ vs Communitea

The clearest difference is update cadence: Communitea at every 2 days against TMZ's monthly. TMZ's advantage is chart position (#99 vs unranked) and device support (5 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TMZ ships an update monthly, Communitea every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
