# PointSolutions vs Aktiv Learning

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aktiv Learning at 73% against PointSolutions's 22%. PointSolutions's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aktiv Learning sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PointSolutions asks for nothing beyond the download.

PointSolutions holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PointSolutions has 12K ratings behind it against 184, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of PointSolutions's written reviews are positive against 73% of Aktiv Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PointSolutions ships an update every 5 weeks, Aktiv Learning every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
