# PointSolutions vs Orthodoxia

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Orthodoxia at 100% against PointSolutions's 22%. Orthodoxia also leads on monetization model (free vs subscription) and rating (4.8 vs 4.4). PointSolutions's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Orthodoxia holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PointSolutions has 12K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of PointSolutions's written reviews are positive against 100% of Orthodoxia's.

PointSolutions ships an update every 5 weeks, Orthodoxia monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
