# PointSolutions vs AnkiMobile Flashcards

The clearest difference is price: PointSolutions at Free against AnkiMobile Flashcards's $24.99. PointSolutions also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (12K vs 2.3K). AnkiMobile Flashcards's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 22%) and chart position (#1 vs unranked). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

PointSolutions is free to download; AnkiMobile Flashcards costs $24.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PointSolutions holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PointSolutions has 12K ratings behind it against 2.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of PointSolutions's written reviews are positive against 59% of AnkiMobile Flashcards's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
