# ASICS Runkeeper vs Treadwear

The clearest difference is ads: Treadwear at none against ASICS Runkeeper's shown. ASICS Runkeeper's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (381K vs 4). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ASICS Runkeeper sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Treadwear sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Treadwear holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASICS Runkeeper has 381K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ASICS Runkeeper ships an update fortnightly, Treadwear every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
