# ASICS Runkeeper vs BNG Studio

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: BNG Studio at none against ASICS Runkeeper's 13. BNG Studio also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). ASICS Runkeeper's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (380K vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ASICS Runkeeper sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. BNG Studio asks for nothing beyond the download.

BNG Studio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASICS Runkeeper has 380K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ASICS Runkeeper ships an update fortnightly, BNG Studio every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 8, 2026 respectively.
