# Rowmote vs Holyrics

The clearest difference is rating: Holyrics at 3.9 against Rowmote's 2.9. Holyrics also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and chart position (#174 vs unranked). Rowmote's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 28%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Rowmote costs $0.99 and Holyrics $0.99 up front. Rowmote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Holyrics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Holyrics holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rowmote has 86 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Rowmote's written reviews are positive against 28% of Holyrics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rowmote ships an update every 6 weeks, Holyrics every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
