# Fractals vs 3DD Capture

The clearest difference is price: 3DD Capture at Free against Fractals's $2.99. 3DD Capture also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3). Fractals's advantage is ratings volume (75 vs 2) and update cadence (every 11 months vs every 37 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

3DD Capture is free to download; Fractals costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

3DD Capture holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fractals has 75 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
