# NFP Charting vs Advanced Teknique

The clearest difference is update cadence: Advanced Teknique at every 3 weeks against NFP Charting's every 4 months. NFP Charting's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NFP Charting sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Advanced Teknique sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $24.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NFP Charting ships an update every 4 months, Advanced Teknique every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
