# EL PAÍS vs EL NORTE

The clearest difference is rating: EL NORTE at 2.9 against EL PAÍS's 2.1. EL NORTE also leads on ads (none vs shown) and chart position (#183 vs unranked). EL PAÍS's advantage is ratings volume (193 vs 14). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EL PAÍS sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month and EL NORTE sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
