# iOdds vs Zcode

The clearest difference is ads: Zcode at none against iOdds's shown. Zcode also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). iOdds's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 60%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for iOdds against 4.0 for Zcode. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iOdds has 112 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of iOdds's written reviews are positive against 60% of Zcode's.

iOdds ships an update every 2 months, Zcode every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
