# Ballistic vs Super Hogster

The clearest difference is rating: Super Hogster at 2.9 against Ballistic's 1.1. Super Hogster also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). Ballistic's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 20%) and ratings volume (81 vs 15). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ballistic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Super Hogster asks for nothing beyond the download.

Super Hogster holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ballistic has 81 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Ballistic's written reviews are positive against 20% of Super Hogster's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ballistic ships an update every 3 months, Super Hogster every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
