# Ballistic vs LADWF Tips

The clearest difference is rating: LADWF Tips at 3.3 against Ballistic's 1.0. LADWF Tips also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15). Ballistic's advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 20%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 23 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ballistic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. LADWF Tips asks for nothing beyond the download.

LADWF Tips holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ballistic has 46 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Ballistic's written reviews are positive against 20% of LADWF Tips's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ballistic ships an update every 3 months, LADWF Tips every 23 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
