# myHomework Student Planner vs Class Manager

The clearest difference is ads: Class Manager at none against myHomework Student Planner's shown. myHomework Student Planner's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 42). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myHomework Student Planner sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Class Manager sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

myHomework Student Planner holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myHomework Student Planner has 4.3K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of myHomework Student Planner's written reviews are positive against 86% of Class Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myHomework Student Planner ships an update monthly, Class Manager every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
