# myHomework Student Planner vs Assignment Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: myHomework Student Planner at 81% against Assignment Tracker's 31%. myHomework Student Planner also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 98) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 18.0). Assignment Tracker's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myHomework Student Planner sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Assignment Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignment Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myHomework Student Planner has 4.3K ratings behind it against 98, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of myHomework Student Planner's written reviews are positive against 31% of Assignment Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myHomework Student Planner ships an update monthly, Assignment Tracker every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
