# myHomework Student Planner vs Homework Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Homework Tracker at none against myHomework Student Planner's shown. Homework Tracker also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5). myHomework Student Planner's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 224) and review sentiment (81% vs 70%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myHomework Student Planner sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Homework Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myHomework Student Planner has 4.3K ratings behind it against 224, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of myHomework Student Planner's written reviews are positive against 70% of Homework Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
