# myHomework Student Planner vs My Homework

The clearest difference is review sentiment: myHomework Student Planner at 81% against My Homework's 40%. myHomework Student Planner also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 1). My Homework's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. myHomework Student Planner sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and My Homework sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Homework holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myHomework Student Planner has 4.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of myHomework Student Planner's written reviews are positive against 40% of My Homework's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myHomework Student Planner ships an update monthly, My Homework every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
