# Lifecards vs Comic Life 3

The clearest difference is rating: Comic Life 3 at 4.3 against Lifecards's 3.8. Comic Life 3 also leads on ratings volume (239 vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Lifecards's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 64%) and price ($1.99 vs $4.99). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Lifecards costs $1.99 and Comic Life 3 $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Comic Life 3 holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comic Life 3 has 239 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Lifecards's written reviews are positive against 64% of Comic Life 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
