# Daily vs dots

The clearest difference is review sentiment: dots at 83% against Daily's 22%. dots also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 12 months) and rating (4.2 vs 4.0). Daily's advantage is price ($0.99 vs $2.99) and device support (3 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Daily costs $0.99 and dots $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

dots holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: dots has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of Daily's written reviews are positive against 83% of dots's.

Daily ships an update every 12 months, dots every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
