# iconclock vs Zing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iconclock at 83% against Zing's 35%. iconclock also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). Zing's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 3.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iconclock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Zing asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zing holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 26 and 19 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of iconclock's written reviews are positive against 35% of Zing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iconclock ships an update weekly, Zing every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
