# Piano vs FlexMusic

The clearest difference is update cadence: FlexMusic at every 2 weeks against Piano's every 12 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piano sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FlexMusic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Piano ships an update every 12 months, FlexMusic every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
