# Carpentry Formulator vs Photo Measures Lite

The clearest difference is rating: Carpentry Formulator at 3.8 against Photo Measures Lite's 2.2. Photo Measures Lite's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (52% vs 25%). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carpentry Formulator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Photo Measures Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Carpentry Formulator holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.2.
