# TrueContext vs Wheels Mobile Assistant

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TrueContext at 49% against Wheels Mobile Assistant's 6%. TrueContext also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Wheels Mobile Assistant's advantage is rating (3.2 vs 2.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TrueContext sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wheels Mobile Assistant asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wheels Mobile Assistant holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wheels Mobile Assistant has 651 ratings behind it against 58, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of TrueContext's written reviews are positive against 6% of Wheels Mobile Assistant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TrueContext ships an update fortnightly, Wheels Mobile Assistant every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
