# Allegro vs tractorpool

Allegro and tractorpool both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 48% of Allegro's written reviews are positive against 13% of tractorpool's. Allegro also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (5.4K vs 6). tractorpool's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

tractorpool holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Allegro has 5.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of Allegro's written reviews are positive against 13% of tractorpool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Allegro ships an update weekly, tractorpool every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
