# SimpleMind vs MinDgo 9

The clearest difference is rating: SimpleMind at 4.5 against MinDgo 9's 4.0. SimpleMind also leads on ratings volume (981 vs 1). MinDgo 9's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpleMind sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MinDgo 9 asks for nothing beyond the download.

SimpleMind holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SimpleMind has 981 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of SimpleMind's written reviews are positive against 80% of MinDgo 9's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
