# Kakuro u vs West Wing Escape

The clearest difference is review sentiment: West Wing Escape at 100% against Kakuro u's 44%. West Wing Escape also leads on ads (none vs shown). Kakuro u's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (303 vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kakuro u sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and West Wing Escape sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kakuro u holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kakuro u has 303 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Kakuro u's written reviews are positive against 100% of West Wing Escape's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Kakuro u ships an update every 3 weeks, West Wing Escape every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
