# TouchCab vs Security Reactor

The clearest difference is price: Security Reactor at Free against TouchCab's $9.99. Security Reactor also leads on rating (4.5 vs 2.1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). TouchCab's advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 41%) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Security Reactor is free to download; TouchCab costs $9.99 up front. Security Reactor sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. TouchCab asks for nothing beyond the download.

Security Reactor holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security Reactor has 910 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of TouchCab's written reviews are positive against 41% of Security Reactor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TouchCab ships an update every 2 months, Security Reactor weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
