# Mathemagics vs Sublimidial

The clearest difference is rating: Mathemagics at 4.8 against Sublimidial's 3.3. Mathemagics also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (470 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Mathemagics costs $4.99 and Sublimidial $4.99 up front. Sublimidial sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Mathemagics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mathemagics holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mathemagics has 470 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of Mathemagics's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sublimidial's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mathemagics ships an update every 4 months, Sublimidial every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
