# Minesweeper Classic vs I did it

The clearest difference is rating: Minesweeper Classic at 4.7 against I did it's 1.0. Minesweeper Classic also leads on ratings volume (3.1K vs 1). I did it's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minesweeper Classic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and I did it sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Minesweeper Classic holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minesweeper Classic has 3.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Minesweeper Classic's written reviews are positive against 50% of I did it's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Minesweeper Classic ships an update every 3 months, I did it weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
