# VIP Access for iPhone vs Okta Verify

The clearest difference is rating: Okta Verify at 4.7 against VIP Access for iPhone's 2.6. Okta Verify also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (37K vs 145). VIP Access for iPhone's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 19%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Okta Verify holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Okta Verify has 37K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of VIP Access for iPhone's written reviews are positive against 19% of Okta Verify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VIP Access for iPhone ships an update every 4 months, Okta Verify every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
