# VIP Access for iPhone vs Web

The clearest difference is rating: Web at 4.5 against VIP Access for iPhone's 2.6. Web also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 145) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). VIP Access for iPhone's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 18%) and chart position (#95 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Web holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Web has 22K ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of VIP Access for iPhone's written reviews are positive against 18% of Web's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VIP Access for iPhone ships an update every 4 months, Web every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
