# 30A vs Key TV

The clearest difference is rating: 30A at 4.6 against Key TV's 3.3. 30A also leads on ratings volume (264 vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). Key TV's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

30A holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 30A has 264 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of 30A's written reviews are positive against 88% of Key TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

30A ships an update every 2 months, Key TV every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
