# Flashcards Deluxe Lite vs Flashcard Machine

The clearest difference is rating: Flashcards Deluxe Lite at 4.8 against Flashcard Machine's 4.3. Flashcards Deluxe Lite also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Flashcard Machine's advantage is ratings volume (79 vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flashcard Machine sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Flashcards Deluxe Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flashcards Deluxe Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flashcard Machine has 79 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of Flashcards Deluxe Lite's written reviews are positive against 67% of Flashcard Machine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flashcards Deluxe Lite ships an update every 5 months, Flashcard Machine every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
