# Map My Walk vs Trust Relay Services

The clearest difference is monetization model: Map My Walk at free with in-app purchases against Trust Relay Services's subscription. Map My Walk also leads on ratings volume (485K vs 4) and chart position (#132 vs unranked). Trust Relay Services's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Map My Walk sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Trust Relay Services sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trust Relay Services holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Map My Walk has 485K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Map My Walk ships an update fortnightly, Trust Relay Services every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
